Med-eScreen Onsite Medical Services and Drug Screening

Minimize risk to onsite workforce health and safety.

Pembrooke Occupational Health has merged with eScreen, Inc. to form a best-in-class onsite medical services division: Med-eScreen. The unified companies represent over 25 years of experience in providing drug testing and onsite medical services, as well as industry-changing technology and program management software.

In addition to helping companies manage their employment screening data by providing easy access to drug test results and background checks, we provide other onsite services such as badging, medical services, safety orientation and more.

We have worked with some of the largest construction managers in the industry, including Skanska, Fluor Corporation, Gilbane Building Company, The Shaw Group, Parsons, Austin Industries, Torcon and Turner Construction.

What can you do to decrease the impact of substance abuse on your job site?

Our onsite services promote increased productivity because your employees and subcontractors rarely need to leave the premises to complete their drug and alcohol screening or medical treatment. In special cases where additional treatment is required, Med-eScreen has established relationships with thousands of nationwide off-site treatment facilities that support Return-to-Work and Light Duty programs.

Our all-inclusive program allows you to conveniently manage everything ranging from assistance with workers’ compensation claims to supervisor training and results reporting via our secure website.

What Onsite Medical Services Are Available?

:: Medical Services: Nurses, Paramedics, EMT

Our onsite medical services include a fully equipped medical trailer with multiple treatment rooms and the capability to perform x-rays, audiometric exams, pulmonary fit tests and physicals on location. We supply fully qualified, onsite medical personnel, including occupational health doctors and nurses, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and paramedics/EMTs. We also provide a medical transport for emergency situations.

:: Employee Intake: Drug Screening & Badging

Med-eScreen specializes in developing employee intake programs that work in cooperation with other site programs and activities. The drug testing and badging processes are commonly integrated with the safety orientation program. Information on each new employee is stored in a secure database, which may be used to control or monitor site access and execute a random testing program.

:: Supervisor Training & Safety Orientation

Med-eScreen offers in-person or online training programs in the following areas: Safety Orientation for New Hires, Reasonable Suspicion Supervisor Training, Breath Alcohol Test Training for Evidential Breath Test and First Aid/CPR training.

:: Work Fitness Assessment

Our Work Fitness Assessment program is a more thorough and cost effective method of applicant health screening than traditional pre-placement physicals. By utilizing detailed questionnaires specific to job functions and experienced medical professionals, we can help you reduce the risk of hiring an unqualified applicant.

:: Workers’ Compensation Case Management

Med-eScreen manages onsite medical claims from the initial medical consultation to the point when the individual is released to return to work. We also offer Workers’ Compensation Incident Investigation services.

:: Background Screening

In conjunction with our drug and alcohol screening services, Med-eScreen also provides several background products and packages, including criminal records searches, motor vehicle records searches (MVRs) and employment verifications.

:: Technology

Med-eScreen manages your employee data through a secure, interactive website. Our web-based applications allow you to view test results, create sophisticated statistical reports with the click of a button, and view your billing information. We also offer various access levels for different users to ensure the security and confidentiality of employee records.

In applicable environments, Med-eScreen has the ability to provide electronic chain of custody forms and patented, instrumented, rapid urine drug tests that return digitally screened negative results in 15 minutes.

Who is Med-eScreen?

Med-eScreen is the new onsite medical services division of eScreen. After merging with Pembrooke Occupational Health in 2010, clients of both companies can now take advantage of a much broader range of services to meet their needs.
