Murray Lappe

Founder and Chairman of the Board

Dr. Murray Lappe founded eScreen, Inc. in 1998 and currently serves as its Chairman of the Board. In addition, he also founded National Medical Review Offices, Inc., and served as its Chief Executive Officer from 1989-2001. Dr. Lappe has been a pioneer in workplace drug testing since its original introduction in 1983 and was one of the original founders of Forefront Diagnostics, a manufacturer of rapid assay systems for drugs of abuse. Prior to starting these two organizations, Dr. Lappe worked in various positions throughout the occupational medicine field. He has nearly 20 years of experience in medical device development and occupational medicine. He holds nine patents related to drugs of abuse testing, and is the inventor of the eScreen instant drug testing system.

Robert D. Thompson

Chief Executive Officer

Robert D. Thompson joined eScreen in April of 2002 as President and Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Thompson oversees the day-to-day business including sales, marketing, operations, finance and the distribution of the eScreen Drugs of Abuse Screening System. Prior to joining eScreen, Thompson was Chief Executive Officer of OraSure Technologies, where he orchestrated the creation of OraSure Technologies through the merger of Epitope, Inc. and STC Technologies, the two leading oral fluid companies. Before joining OraSure Technologies, Thompson was an Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at LabOne, Inc., a publicly traded substance abuse, clinical and risk assessment laboratory services provider. In this position, which was assumed in 1993, Mr. Thompson was responsible for finance and all operations.

Angela B. Moore

Chief Operating Officer

Angela B. Moore joined eScreen in September of 1998 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Moore oversees the day-to-day operations including customer service, implementation, Healthcare Network Development, National Account Management and oversees the Medical Review Officer Services Division. Mrs. Moore plays an important role in the implementation and maintenance of national clients, working closely with corporate executives to apply eScreen technology and data acquisition to other areas of their business.

Lara C. Morrison

Chief Information Officer

Lara C. Morrison joined eScreen in July of 2009 as the Chief Information Officer. Lara leads the company’s information technology team as it develops the next generation of employment screening products and services as well as overseeing IT operations.

Prior to joining eScreen, Morrison was senior vice president of Global Systems Delivery at Elavon, a multinational payment processor and card acquirer owned by U.S. Bancorp. She also held similar roles at First Horizon Merchant Services, a predecessor company to Elavon.

Thomas J. Hespe

Chief Marketing Officer

Thomas J. Hespe joined eScreen in September of 2004 and serves as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Hespe manages the daily responsibilities and functions of the eScreen marketing and sales department including field account management, creative services, company branding and the marketing communication efforts in regards to the various types of eScreen customers. Additional roles include administration of new product launches and the development of strategic plans for continued market expansion.

Before joining eScreen, Hespe was the President of the Healthcare & Drug Testing Divisions and Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales of LabOne, Inc., the largest single site diagnostic testing laboratory in the country, specializing in insurance services, healthcare solutions and drug testing. While at LabOne, Hespe was instrumental in the creation of the innovative Lab Card® Program, a laboratory management program, and served as member of the Board of Directors from 1995 to 1999.

Roger L. Peckman

VP Finance

Roger L. Peckman joined eScreen, Inc. in June of 2002 and serves as Controller. In this role, Peckman is responsible for maintaining the financial accounting systems of the company, preparing corporate financial statements, and overseeing the accounting staff. Peckman completes the annual audit and has assisted Mr. Thompson in the successful reduction of SG&A expenses and implementation of the autoinvoice clinic payment system.

Peckman has over 15 years of finance and management experience in the electronic manufacturing, plastic injection molding, transportation, and financial consulting industries. As Controller and General Manager of Hybrids International, Peckman installed the MAS90 accounting system utilizing all modules through Bill of Materials. In this position, Peckman implemented “Just-In-Time” inventory practices that increased inventory turns 300% and collection procedures that reduced the company’s bad debt expense to less than ½ of 1% of total sales.
