About eScreen

eScreen, Inc. is a technology-enabled Third-Party Administrator that provides next-generation employment screening applications for hiring and maintaining efficient workforces.

eScreen, located in Overland Park, KS, was designed to be the ultimate solution for nationwide employee screening programs. Founded in 1998 by Dr. Murray Lappe and the nation’s largest MRO corporation, eScreen has provided drugs-of-abuse screening and automated hiring program solutions for some of the nation’s largest hiring programs. Dr. Lappe recognized the enormous potential in today’s dynamically changing world of technology, so he developed a unique combination of technologies that have revolutionized the $2 billion-per-year drug testing industry. Beginning with a ‘dumb’ cup and a ‘smart’ lid, the eScreen product line has evolved to encompass innovative products and services along with its cutting-edge software.

Now that eScreen is setting the new standard for drug testing program management, its more that 4,000 eScreen Occupational Health Network (EOHN) clinics offer employers a truly nationwide solution. As the industry's premiere technology-enabled Third Party Administrators (TPA), eScreen processes millions of healthcare and corporate data transactions each year. eScreen’s centralized process has been designed to ensure program compliance for all Department of Transportation (DOT) and non-DOT hiring programs. As the only truly integrated, electronic drug testing solution in the industry, the capabilities are virtually limitless in its ability to simplify local and nationwide testing.

In early 2010, eScreen merged with Pembrooke Occupational Health, a leading provider of employment screening and risk management services for both regulated and non-regulated clients. The transaction brought together two best-in-class employment screening service providers and unified each of the organizations' complementary product portfolios. The merger with Pembrooke brought new products to the eScreen service offering including onsite drug testing and medical services, as well a dynamic driver qualification file management system.

There are several ways that eScreen differentiates itself from the competition. Most prominent among them is being the only instrumented point-of-collection test which delivers negative results within 15 minutes – all while being controlled from a secure, paperless web platform. This platform gives employers total visibility of test data throughout the entire process – from employer to collection facility to lab and then to MRO. With eScreen, employers can easily manage a consistent, compliant and efficient nationwide drug screening program.
